The company has developed unique dip molding and coating processes which utilizes various polymers in the fabrication of thin and thick-wall components. The technical foundation for Xccent small industrial's expertise emanates from its experience with the dip molding of PVC stethoscope tubing for major manufacturers around the world.

Xccent Medical & Industrial has worked with many device companies from initial concept through final manufacturing for products such as bellows, ice bags, hospital bed components and various other medical oriented products. The company also provides dip coating and molding of many products used in industrial applications such as electrical conduit components.

In 2004, the parent company began attempts to internally track and identify sales and profitability by business unit, and over time evolve into four separate units as follows: Xccent Medical & Industrial, Xccent Play, Xccent Park & Recreation, and Xccent Decking.

Xccent Medical & Industrial is uniquely separated from the other business units for markets served, manufacturing equipment and production personnel. As a result, Xccent Medical & Industrial naturally evolved into a physically separate business unit, utilizing shared resources for customer services, inventory management and administrative support, with little sales, marketing and management support.

In addition to polymer and manufacturing process expertise, Xccent Medical & Industrial provides full, turn-key customized product packaging with clear over-wraps for complete start to finish product processing. Xccent Medical & Industrial is a full service company occupying a modern facility in the Minneapolis, MN metropolitan area. The facility includes materials testing laboratories, administrative offices, dip molding equipment, and research and development laboratories. Xccent Medical & Industrial is scheduled to open a brand new facility in early 2010,occupying a larder footprint and housing state of the art equipment while conveniently located in Wyoming, MN on the I-35 corridor. Xccent Medical & Industrial is listed with the FDA as a custom medical device manufacturing establishment.
