1) Bellows / Boot
A well known Medical equipment Company approached us with the challenge of executing a part design that covered a flexible pinch point. They needed a material that would move in 3 axis, would not fatigue or crack over time, would be pleasant to the touch, colored to match the rest of the device, resistant to both chemicals and UV light, have low tooling costs ( compared to other polymer processes ), with internal mold features that allowed for bolt through holes and open core areas, yet have contained part costs. A tall, almost ridiculous order for anything other than an elastomeric, dip molded process such as we do at XCCENT, Inc.

XCCENT developed the tool design, custom formulated a plastisol resin that met the criteria and went into production. This was only possible because of Xccent's superior engineering and technical staff.

2) Durable ANTI - SLIP surfaces
A Major Playground Equipment manufacturer came to Xccent looking to eliminate wood rot , splinters and injuries on their equipment and also improve; the surface durability, reduce slipping / falling ( especially when wet), cushion the surface, reduce surface heat on Hot Summer days, reduce / eliminate rust, add UV stable colors for year round outdoor use.

XCCENT formulated a textured resin that met the requirement, built equipment that could mold VERY Large parts ( some big as a truck ! ) . The program was so well received, that it has grown and become the "new standard", to include virtually every Playground Equipment manufacturer in business today ! 3) Electrical Connectors and Bus bar covers
A major source in North America for Industrial and residential electricians came to Xccent needing an electrical insulating material that enveloped these electrical junctions. Eliminating the old heavy taping & the possibility of electrocution and speeding up the wiring and repair process.

XCCENT developed a special dielectric formula and a manufacturing process to produce and meet the need. They are now the fastest growing in this industrial segment. PVC vinyl is a flame resistant, self extinguishing material.

4) Stethoscopes
A large Medical Device manufacturer wanted to develop the Premier Stethoscope in the world today ( Littman-tm), overcoming external noise resonance and interference, neutral physical memory, high durability, stereoscopic differentiation, wide and neutral sonic range and dimensional precision.
